Muggleborn students at Hogwarts (part 1/?)

I love muggleborn headcanons.

There aren’t any “anti-muggle-technology charms,” did anyone actually READ Hogwarts: A History?

Hermione said in The Goblet of Fire that bugging devices don’t work because magic interferes with electricity geez

clothing adjustments that need to happen

runningbox11:

• shirts actually designed for girls with larger chests
• plus size clothing ACTUALLY intended to accommodate plus size people not just scaled up littler clothing
• clothes for tall people that won’t ride up
• pants for people with no butts
• cute bras in bigger sizes
•the fashion industry’s understanding that there’s lots of body types and every body type deserves to feel good in the clothes they wear

And when you write something amazing and you love it and you share it and it’s still amazing and people love it and you’ll never be able to do anything like it ever again and you’re just likeimage

So, my uncle passed away on Monday night. My mother and his best friend of 49 years had to rush out to where he lived to make arrangements and go through all of his stuff.

A lot of things that I would rather have not known came to light… that all of us would rather not have known. But now I’m home and the funeral is over, except it’s not over, not for my cousin, who lost her father and essentially her only parent this week. Life may go on, but she still lost her father.

And my family was not at their bet this weekend, to say the least. Grief and stress brings out the worst in people. This was one of the hardest weeks of my life, and I can’t recall a time where I’ve been more tired than I am right now.

"what’s a queen without her king?" well, historically, better

also, in the british monarchy, if a queen is on the throne, there isn’t a king. her husband is a prince. BUT if a king is on the throne, his wife is a queen. which truly shows that the country can be ruled without a king but can’t without a queen.

HISTORY

Funerals are sneaky bastards. I keep getting really excited, because I’m going to get to see my whole family tomorrow… then I remember it’s because my uncle died. And then I ate an entire bag of chips.
